Description
Inspired by the soft blue reflections of Morocco’s Atlantic coast, this blue zellige tile features a calm, airy blue tone with subtle variations that bring depth and authenticity to any surface. Each 2x6 zellige tile is handcrafted in Morocco using traditional techniques, individually shaped and hand-glazed to preserve the true spirit of Moroccan zellige.
The elongated bejmat zellige tile format offers strength and versatility while maintaining an artisanal character. Natural glaze pooling, gentle shade variation, and slightly irregular edges highlight the handmade process and ensure that no two tiles are exactly alike.
This blue bejmat tile is suitable for both residential and commercial projects. Recommended uses include kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, shower walls and floors including steam showers, interior floors in high-traffic areas such as kitchens and entryways, as well as low-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms. It is also suitable for fireplace surrounds, excluding the firebox, and is compatible with radiant heated floors.
For outdoor applications, this 2x6 blue zellige tile can be used on exterior walls and exterior floors in non-freeze climates.
Not suitable for exterior floors exposed to freeze or thaw conditions such as snow or ice.
This tile complements Mediterranean, coastal, modern, rustic, and contemporary interiors, adding a refined Moroccan touch to kitchens, bathrooms, pools, spas, and architectural features.
✔ Sealing is required to protect the glaze and enhance durability. Please refer to the installation guide for recommended sealers.
