SAYF Hexagon Zellige Tile

The SAYF zellige tile is a handcrafted Moroccan tile inspired by deep natural earth tones and traditional artisanal techniques. Its warm brown color, enriched with subtle mineral variations, creates a grounded and timeless surface that works effortlessly in both modern and classic interiors. Each tile is individually handmade, featuring a softly textured finish, gentle tonal movement, and naturally irregular edges that reflect authentic zellige craftsmanship.

These organic variations give SAYF its distinctive character, bringing depth and warmth to every installation. The hexagon shape adds structure and rhythm, making this tile suitable for a wide range of interior styles, including Mediterranean, rustic, minimalist, and contemporary spaces. It pairs naturally with materials such as wood, stone, plaster, and metal, enhancing interiors with an earthy and refined presence.

SAYF is suitable for both residential and commercial applications. It can be installed on interior floors, including high-traffic areas such as kitchens, primary bathrooms, and entryways, as well as low-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms. It is also well suited for interior walls, including kitchen backsplashes and bathroom walls, where its natural tone adds texture and visual balance.

In moisture-prone environments, SAYF zellige tile may be used on shower walls and floors, including steam showers, and is also appropriate for pools and spas, whether saltwater or chlorine. It is compatible with radiant heated floor systems and may be installed on fireplace surrounds, excluding the interior fire box.

When properly installed and sealed, SAYF can be used on exterior floors, including areas exposed to freeze or thaw conditions such as snow or ice, as well as on outdoor floors in non-freeze climates. It is also suitable for exterior walls, including retaining walls and vertical outdoor surfaces.

To ensure durability, stain resistance, and long-term performance, sealing is required. Proper sealing helps protect the surface while maintaining the tile’s natural appearance. Please refer to the installation guide for recommended sealers and correct application methods.
