SABIL Hexagon Zellige Tile

The SABIL zellige tile is a handcrafted Moroccan tile characterized by its deep mineral red tone and timeless geometric form. Inspired by traditional craftsmanship and natural pigments, SABIL features a rich, earthy color with subtle variations that bring warmth and depth to any surface. Each tile is handmade by skilled artisans, resulting in a softly textured finish, gentle shade differences, and naturally irregular edges that reflect authentic zellige artistry.

These variations are an inherent part of the tile’s character, creating a dynamic and organic surface once installed. The hexagon shape introduces structure and rhythm, making SABIL suitable for a wide range of interior styles, from Mediterranean and rustic spaces to modern and minimalist environments. It pairs naturally with materials such as wood, stone, plaster, and metal, adding warmth without overwhelming the design.

SABIL is suitable for both residential and commercial applications. It can be installed on interior floors, including high-traffic areas such as kitchens, primary bathrooms, and entryways, as well as lower-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms. The tile is also well suited for interior walls, including kitchen backsplashes and bathroom walls, where its deep color and handmade surface create visual interest and artisanal depth.

For areas exposed to moisture, SABIL zellige tile is appropriate for shower walls and floors, including steam showers, and can also be used in pools and spas, whether saltwater or chlorine. It is compatible with radiant heated floor systems and may be installed on fireplace surrounds, excluding the interior fire box.

When properly installed and sealed, SABIL may be used on exterior floors, including surfaces exposed to freeze or thaw conditions such as snow or ice, as well as on outdoor floors in non-freeze climates. It is also suitable for exterior walls, including retaining walls and vertical outdoor surfaces.

To maintain durability, stain resistance, and long-term performance, sealing is required. Sealing protects the surface while preserving the tile’s natural appearance. Please refer to the installation guide for recommended sealers and proper application methods.
