Lapis 2x6 Blue Rectangle Zellige Tile

Deep, rich, and mineral in character, Lapis is a handcrafted blue zellige tile inspired by the intense lapis and indigo tones found in traditional Moroccan architecture. Handmade in Morocco using ancestral zellige techniques, each tile is individually shaped, glazed, and kiln-fired, resulting in subtle shade variation, organic edges, and the natural imperfections that define authentic Moroccan zellige.

This 2x6 rectangular zellige tile features a saturated deep blue tone with gentle tonal movement and a softly reflective glaze. Variations in depth, sheen, and surface texture occur naturally from tile to tile, giving every installation a unique, artisanal finish that cannot be replicated by machine-made products.

Designed for both residential and commercial projects, this blue zellige tile is suitable for interior floors, including high-traffic areas such as kitchens, entryways, and primary bathrooms, as well as low-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms.

Lapis is also ideal for interior walls, kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, shower walls and shower floors, including steam showers, zellige tile fireplace surrounds (excluding the firebox), and pools and spas, including saltwater and chlorine environments. The tile is fully compatible with radiant heating systems, making it suitable for heated floors.

For exterior use, this blue rectangular zellige tile may be installed on outdoor floors and walls in non-freeze, non-thaw climates only. It is not suitable for exterior floors exposed to freeze or thaw conditions, snow, or ice.
Sealing is required to protect the surface and ensure long-term performance.
