Assiram 2×2 Checkerboard Zellige Tile

Soft and balanced, the Assiram zellige tile features a refined checkerboard pattern combining gentle sky blue tones with warm white squares. Inspired by traditional Moroccan zellige craftsmanship, each 2×2 tile is handmade in Morocco, shaped and glazed individually to showcase subtle tonal shifts, natural texture, and slightly irregular edges that highlight its artisanal character.

This square zellige tile offers a harmonious blend of calm color and geometric rhythm, making it ideal for both classic and contemporary interiors. The glossy surface enhances light reflection while preserving the authenticity of handmade zellige.

Suitable for residential and commercial applications, Assiram zellige tile can be used on interior floors in high-traffic areas such as kitchens, primary bathrooms, and entryways, as well as low-traffic spaces including guest bathrooms and bedrooms. It is also appropriate for interior walls, kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, shower walls and floors including steam showers, pools and spas, and fireplace surrounds (excluding the firebox). The tile is fully compatible with radiant heated floors.

For outdoor projects, this zellige tile may be installed on exterior walls and exterior floors in non-freeze climates.
