Description
Clean, calm, and mineral, this light gray zellige tile features a soft pale gray tone with subtle cool undertones inspired by traditional Moroccan zellige glazes. Each 2x6 zellige tile is handcrafted in Morocco using ancestral techniques, shaped and glazed by hand to preserve the authenticity and character of true zellige.
The elongated bejmat zellige tile format offers strength and versatility while maintaining an artisanal appearance. Natural glaze variations, gentle tonal movement, and slightly irregular edges are a signature of handmade zellige, giving every surface depth and individuality.
This light gray bejmat tile is suitable for both residential and commercial applications. Recommended uses include kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, shower walls and floors including steam showers, interior floors in high-traffic areas such as kitchens, primary bathrooms, and entryways, as well as low-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms. It is also suitable for fireplace surrounds, excluding the firebox, and is compatible with radiant heated floors.
For outdoor use, this 2x6 light gray zellige tile can be installed on exterior walls and outdoor floors in non-freeze climates.
