Celadon Riad 4x4 Green Square Zellige Tile

Soft, mineral, and quietly luminous, Celadon Riad is a handcrafted green zellige tile inspired by the muted celadon and garden-green tones found in traditional Moroccan riads. Its calm, refined color evokes shaded courtyards, glazed tile fountains, and timeworn architectural surfaces softened by light and patina.

Handmade in Morocco using traditional zellige techniques, this authentic 4x4 square zellige tile is individually shaped, glazed, and kiln-fired by skilled artisans. The result is subtle glaze variation, gentle tonal movement, organic edges, and the natural imperfections that define true Moroccan zellige.

Each green zellige tile displays soft shifts in color ranging from pale mineral green to deeper, moss-like tones. These variations are an intentional part of handmade zellige craftsmanship and give every installation a unique, artisanal character with depth and warmth.

Designed for both residential and commercial projects, this 4x4 green zellige tile is suitable for interior floor applications, including high-traffic areas such as kitchen floors, entryways, and primary bathrooms, as well as low-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms.

Celadon Riad is also ideal for interior walls, kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, shower walls and shower floors (including steam showers), zellige tile fireplace surrounds (excluding the firebox), and pools and spas, including saltwater and chlorine environments. The tile is fully compatible with radiant heating systems, making it suitable for heated floors.

For exterior use, this green square zellige tile may be installed on outdoor floors and walls in non-freeze, non-thaw climates only.
⚠️ It is not suitable for exterior floors exposed to freeze-thaw conditions, snow, or ice.

As with all handmade Moroccan zellige, sealing is required after installation to protect the surface and ensure long-term durability.
