AYDA Hexagon Zellige Tile

The AYDA zellige tile is defined by its warm yellow tone, inspired by Moroccan light and traditional natural pigments. Handcrafted from clay and finished by skilled artisans, each tile carries subtle variations in shade, texture, and surface character. These natural irregularities are not defects, but a signature of authentic zellige, giving every installation depth, warmth, and a timeless artisanal feel.

Shaped in a hexagon, AYDA creates a balanced and rhythmic pattern that works equally well in modern, Mediterranean, rustic, and eclectic interiors. Its luminous yellow color enhances natural and artificial light, making spaces feel brighter, more inviting, and visually dynamic.

AYDA is suitable for both residential and commercial environments. It can be installed on interior floors, including high-traffic areas such as kitchens, primary bathrooms, and entryways, as well as low-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms. The tile is also well suited for interior wall applications, including kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, and decorative feature walls.

In moisture-prone settings, AYDA zellige tile is suitable for shower walls and floors, including steam showers, and may also be used in pools and spas, whether saltwater or chlorine. It is compatible with radiant floor heating systems and can be installed on fireplace surrounds, excluding the interior fire box.

AYDA may be used on exterior walls and on outdoor floors in non-freeze climates.
It is not recommended for outdoor surfaces exposed to snow or ice.

To maintain durability, protect the surface, and preserve the tile’s appearance over time, sealing is required. Proper sealing enhances stain resistance while respecting the natural texture of the zellige. Please refer to the installation guide for recommended sealers and application instructions.
