AGHRIS Checkerboard 2×2 Zellige Tile

The AGHRIS Checkerboard 2×2 Zellige Tile is defined by a soft blush pink palette paired with an off-white contrast, inspired by mineral pigments and traditional Moroccan craftsmanship. This subtle color combination enhances the handmade nature of authentic zellige, where natural glaze movement, gentle surface variations, and softly irregular edges ensure that every tile installation is truly one of a kind.

The classic checkerboard 2×2 pattern introduces visual rhythm and balance while remaining timeless and versatile. The warm pink tone brings a calm, refined presence to interiors, making AGHRIS equally suitable for traditional Moroccan spaces and modern minimalist designs. As with all genuine zellige tiles, slight color shifts and texture variations are intentional and contribute to the artisanal character of the material.

AGHRIS zellige tiles are suitable for both residential and commercial environments. They can be installed on high-traffic interior floors, including kitchens, primary bathrooms, and entryways, as well as low-traffic interior spaces such as guest bathrooms and bedrooms. The tile is also ideal for interior wall applications, including kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, and decorative feature walls.

For wet and demanding areas, AGHRIS is suitable for shower walls and floors, including steam showers, and can also be used in pools and spas, whether saltwater or chlorine. The tile is compatible with radiant heating systems and may be installed around fireplace surrounds, excluding the interior firebox. For exterior use, AGHRIS can be applied to exterior walls and outdoor floors in non-freeze climates.

AGHRIS is not suitable for exterior floors exposed to freeze or thaw conditions, such as snow or ice.
