Naher 2×2 Checkerboard Zellige Tile

The Naher 2×2 Checkerboard Zellige Tile features a refined mix of sand beige and soft white, creating a balanced checkerboard pattern inspired by traditional Moroccan zellige floors and courtyards. Handcrafted in Morocco, each zellige tile is shaped, glazed, and finished by hand, resulting in subtle shade variations, organic texture, and gently irregular edges that define authentic zellige craftsmanship.

The compact 2×2 checkerboard format brings structure and rhythm while remaining visually light, making it ideal for both classic and minimalist interiors. The glossy glazed surface enhances depth and light reflection while preserving the handmade character of every piece.

This zellige tile is suitable for residential and commercial use, including kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, shower walls and floors (including steam showers), interior floors in high-traffic areas such as kitchens, primary bathrooms, and entryways, as well as low-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms. It is also suitable for fireplace surrounds (excluding the firebox) and is compatible with radiant heated floors.

For exterior applications, the Naher checkerboard zellige tile may be installed on exterior walls and outdoor floors in non-freeze climates.
