Soft, airy, and quietly luminous, Samae is a handcrafted light blue zellige tile inspired by clear Moroccan skies and pale coastal blues found in traditional riads. Handmade in Morocco by skilled artisans, this authentic 2x6 rectangular zellige tile showcases subtle glaze variation, organic edges, and the natural imperfections that define true Moroccan zellige.

Each light blue zellige tile features gentle tonal movement ranging from powdery sky blue to soft mineral aqua, with delicate surface texture created by hand-applied glaze. These variations are intentional and celebrated, giving every installation a refined, artisanal character that cannot be replicated by machine-made tile.

Designed for both residential and commercial projects, this 2x6 zellige tile is suitable for interior floors, including high-traffic areas such as kitchens, entryways, and primary bathrooms, as well as low-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms.

Samae is also ideal for interior walls, kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, shower walls and shower floors, including steam showers, zellige tile fireplace surrounds (excluding the firebox), and pools and spas, including saltwater and chlorine environments. The tile is fully compatible with radiant heating systems.

For exterior applications, this rectangular zellige tile may be used on outdoor floors and walls in non-freeze climates only. It is not suitable for exterior floors exposed to freeze or thaw conditions, snow, or ice. Sealing is required to protect the surface and ensure long-term durability.
