ANAGEL Checkerboard 2×2 Zellige Tile

The ANAGEL Checkerboard 2×2 Zellige Tile features a rich deep-purple tone paired with a soft off-white, creating a bold yet balanced checkerboard pattern. Inspired by traditional Moroccan glazing techniques, each tile is handcrafted, resulting in subtle shade variations, natural glaze movement, and gently irregular edges that define authentic zellige.

This checkerboard layout brings structure and rhythm to a space while preserving an artisanal, handmade character. The deep purple hue adds depth and elegance, making ANAGEL suitable for both expressive Moroccan interiors and refined contemporary designs. As with all handmade zellige tiles, slight color and texture variations are part of their natural beauty.

ANAGEL zellige tiles are suitable for residential and commercial applications, including high-traffic interior floors such as kitchens, primary bathrooms, and entryways, as well as low-traffic areas like guest bathrooms and bedrooms. They work beautifully on interior walls, including kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, and decorative feature walls.

For more demanding environments, ANAGEL can be used on shower walls and floors, including steam showers, and is also suitable for pools and spas with either saltwater or chlorine. The tile is compatible with radiant heating systems and may be used on fireplace surrounds, excluding the interior firebox.

For exterior use, ANAGEL may be installed on exterior walls and outdoor floors in non-freeze climates.
