Bold yet balanced, this checkerboard zellige tile features a deep green and soft white color pairing inspired by traditional Moroccan mineral pigments. Each 2×2 zellige tile is handcrafted in Morocco, individually shaped and glazed by hand, resulting in subtle tonal variations, organic texture, and gently irregular edges that define authentic zellige craftsmanship.

The square checkerboard format creates a clean, rhythmic pattern that works beautifully in both classic and minimalist interiors. The glossy surface enhances the depth of the deep green glaze while reflecting light naturally, highlighting the handmade character of every tile.

This zellige tile is suitable for residential and commercial applications, including kitchen backsplashes, bathroom walls, shower walls and floors (including steam showers), interior floors in high-traffic areas such as kitchens, primary bathrooms, and entryways, as well as low-traffic spaces like guest bathrooms and bedrooms. It is also suitable for fireplace surrounds (excluding the firebox) and is compatible with radiant heated floors.

For exterior use, this tile may be installed on exterior walls and outdoor floors in non-freeze climates.
